Run Like a Nut Volunteer

Run Like a Nut is the SC Pecan Music & Food Festival's 5K, 10K, and USATF Half Marathon road race attracting over 200 runners for a morning of competitive athletic spirit through Downtown Florence's historic neighborhoods.
Run Like a Nut utilizes volunteers to support and encourage runners along the course, assist with morning set-up and check-in, cheering runners on at the finish line, and ensuring runner hospitality remains stocked. Run Like a Nut volunteers will receive a 2026 SC Pecan Music & Food Festival volunteer t-shirt.

General Festival Volunteer (18+)

Volunteer inside festival grounds Friday, November 6 or Saturday, November 7. There are several opportunities for volunteers to serve including vendor check-in Friday or Saturday, festival booth setup, festival booth operations, Kids Fun Zone setup and operations, STEM zone setup and operations, band hospitality, banner installation, and more. The festival depends on adult volunteer efforts and all volunteers receive the exclusive 2026 SC Pecan Music & Food Festival volunteer t-shirt.
Fill out this application if you're interested in volunteering inside festival grounds on Friday (11/6) or Saturday (11/7). Volunteers filling out a General Festival Volunteer Application must be 18+.
Student Festival Volunteer (14-17)

The SC Pecan Music & Food Festival welcomes student volunteers ages 14-17! This opportunity is a great way to earn service hours for clubs, high school programs, and more. Opportunities include working in the festival's Kids Fun Zone, Arts on Evans, and STEM Zones. All student volunteers will also receive a 2026 SC Pecan Music & Food Festival volunteer t-shirt.
Fill out this application if you're a student ages 14-17 interested in volunteering inside festival grounds on Saturday, November 7. Volunteers filling out this application will have to have a parent or group leader sign their volunteer waiver.
